It's a PC with two. The tower has been around since maybe late 09-early 10 tho. Idk what the changes have really been other than that card since I never got it until maybe late 2012.
An RAID is basically single consolidate storage unit. Think of it like two usb drives that combines into one massive storage.

I strongly advise changing your RAID configuration to at least RAID 5 or higher. If one of your drives fail, well there goes your entire storage. (This affects your other healthy drives too!)

Or just do system images. Just in case.
 
i was being dumb and forgot wat raid 0 meant (because i usually only do stuff raid5+hotspare

He's likely got his important stuff on a secondary drive. Using hard drives though, unless you win the failure lottery, having a drive fail is a rare experience during the lifespan of an average computer.
