[font=CNN,]* The gunman was Omar Mateen of Ft. Pierce, Florida, a law enforcement source told CNN.[/font]

[font=CNN,]"It appears he was organized and well-prepared," Orlando Police Chief John Mina said early Sunday. The shooter had an assault-type weapon, a handgun and "some type of (other) device on him."[/font]

I'm surprised i didn't hear about this earlier.

It happened Sunday morning, at around 2 a.m.

I'm not sure yet if it was an act of aggression against LGBTQ community or just an act of domestic terrorism.

It's so scary to think that my cousin could have been there that night. He went to another club nearby.

And he's a registered Democrat. There's some irony for ya.

EDIT: Breaking - gunman called 911 pledging allegiance to ISIS.
 
Well, it's a little under halfway into 2016 and it's already rivaling 2015 to become the shitiest year of the 2010's.
My thoughts and prayers go towards the victims and their families and friends. Fuck terrorists.

When I was at work there were so many people commenting on it, and this one dude was like super fucking disgusted.

"why can't people just fucking live their lives, those damn islam extremists always trying to show other people that their way is the only way."

I was like wow when he said that. Pretty much word for word excluding a bit more fucks.

I also heard something about a Sacramento, CA pastor praising the shooting and saying that the people killed "deserved it."

Horrible, absolutely horrible.
