So the MSI Z170 Tomahawk AC SOMEONE recommended I buy was DOA. Someone post a not shitty MOBO in the $120-140 area.

Specs

i5 6600K
ASUS Nvidia 980ti
16GB 3000Mhz DDR4
EVGA P2 650w Platinum
Fractal Define S Case
NH15 CPU Cooler

Here is the ASUS Z170-E I posted first. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z170e

Here is the Z170 Pro Gaming, currently on promotion. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z170progaming

Pro Gaming offers more backside I/O and a more robust power delivery. If you use the promo code on newegg you're also knocking of $20 on a $149 board. Also features more SATA connectivity.

Yeah dude totally my fault. It's not like it could've been you at all. No way it might've the manufacturer either. Nor could it just have been a lemon. All me.

Also don't just RMA it, and contact MSI. Spend more money, and enjoy waiting for a refund.

edit: Also computer parts are perfect and always work. Only certain brand like to send bricks instead of computer parts. Give them 1 egg out of 5 on newegg dude.

I'm leaning towards it being a lemon as multiple friends told me MSI is a shit-tier lemonade stand but I ignored them.

So get this. The motherboard I sent back was confirmed dead by a shop just to make sure. I get a new one today, hook it up and it's all good. Runs for an hour then dies and does the same thing as the last one. I tried my old PSU and it works fine.

In short the PSU broke as well. Fuck me.

Yeah. Word of advice: if you are getting a new PSU, spend an extra $10-15 on a PSU tester.

I swore I sent it to you. One second.

EDIT: Here
