I've got one, although I haven't used it in months, as we primarily got it for my sister.

IIRC, it can be a bitch to set up, but it's not bad for the money.

I have one. I really only use mine for netflix and hulu but its good.

They have a list of apps that work with chromecast and then you can download extensions to cast basically whatever you are doing on your desktop. All in all i say its worth the purchase.

I have a chromecast and it works very well for me. I recommend getting it if you are not going to be using cable TV often.

I have the old chromecast and it still works good but I just don't use it as much.

I have a Roku2. A Chromecast is far more specialized toward Android-based devices and the Chrome Web Browser.
