I may or may not overclock my CPU so depending on what I do when I finally buy it I'll decide then to upgrade or not.
The GPU isn't there because I'm waiting for the 1070 to come out(I'm not buying the 1080)
Also the case is pretty specific on what i want in the front according to USB's and what not. I could go w/ just 2 infront but I dunno.

Price range is 1-1.3.(so it's at 1200 if u add in the 1070)
EDIT: Did some changes to PC and Storage.
EDIT: Not like I'm ever gonna use a blu-ray disk for anything. or my disk drive a matter of fact only for a couple things.

WAIT UNTIL POLARIS BECAUSE WOW

Otherwise good. I'm sure there's a better option for the PSU tho. (I'm checking)

STORAGE OPINION
Get a smaller SSD (like 120GB) for the OS and essential programs, with a 500GB (or 1TB) strictly for gaming.
I'd also recommend WD Black over SG but that's pricey.

Your case isn't by NZXT or Fractal Design or Phanteks wtf are you doing

Your mobo and CPU can't be overclocked. You need the K at the end.

EDIT: Why not get a Blu-Ray as long as you're having that disgusting disk drive.

The SSDs he has are fine (IMO you should get a single 480 or 500GB or two 250 in RAID 0), 120GB will fill up fast and they're not much more to get more space.

This. Unless you're aware and fine with this, but think down the line if you could use the potential bump in performance.

Don't get a B150 board. Those are enterprise-level boards and as such are extremely limited in what they can do. One sec and I'll pull something up for you.

EDIT: HERE.

Changed to ASUS Z170 gaming which gave you a $15 price break on the Hard drive. Knocked off that odd cooler you had and substituted it for the one I have since you won't be overclocking.

They are fine. I just like my setup better. 250 fills up fast, and ultimately he WILL want more than 250. I doubt he uses music producing software or downloads dumb shit like I do and I'm not even at 120GB for the OS and important programs.

He also doesn't want to overclock. If he's not overclocking there are not that many features he's missing out on.

Unless he plans on having two GPUs or one of those fancy new SSDs, he's fine.

EDIT: Also LMAO at Sorano not knowing what Cryorig is yet.

I mean I'm still unsure about the ssds and I had that cooler just in case if I was planning to overclock

EDIT: So should I still go with the h7?

I don't overclock and would appreciate a bigger cooler, (I have a 212) just saying.

I know what Cryorig is and who the company is aimed toward. I don't see the point of getting a $50 sink if he does not immediately plan on overclocking.

The Z170 chipset, and to a lesser extend the H170, give you more options to what you can do with the system and what it can handle.

I'm not too optimistic about offerings from a company that's had stagnant CPU development for the last few years.

If you plan on overclocking you will have to get a K-part. That cooler you originally had will do the trick and mine would suffice as well. Just don't expect super awesome clocks unless you go straight to watercooling.
