Old thread was locked so I'm making a new one. If you like a show or want to recommend something post it here with a few details about what the show is about (genre, minor plot , etc). 

Recently started and burned through four seasons of Hell on Wheels, basically about a post civil war confederate soldiers experiences and adventures while building a railroad from the east to the west. Western action adventure. Its pretty good but can get slow at times.
 
Good Eats - Alton Brown presents a cooking show with science, sketches, and cooking to explain a certain aspect of a food/meal.
