After years of abuse the old pos finally gave in so now I am currently out of a gaming rig until I can find a new gpu. I will still be looking at the forums from time to time but I won't be ingame.

Also posting this here even though it is already in another thread.

if you want it you can have my old 7600 GT
it actually ran pretty decent, my 9800 GTX only runs marginally better imo.
or if anyone else wants it for that matter.
it is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814141025

Well at the moment I need a graphics card with a connection for my CRT(cause I'm awesome like that), and that card doesn't seem to have a connection for one. I'm going the fag route and just going to buy another 7300 gt cause I'm poor and jobless.

if you are talking about the one that is color coded blue, you can get a little conversion piece that you plug into it and it plugs into the digital slot. i probably actually have an extra one laying around somewhere.

Yeah, CRT connections use VGA (the blue one, or well I think all of them do) and that card has to DVIs (the white ones). And like Amber said, you can get a male-to-female VGA converter for only a few bucks online.

Wait.. you just bought a CPU without checking to see if the hardware you have is compatible?

Sorry but lol...

Oh and you would be better off making a thread in the tech section about this.
