Tripwires coming to minecraft?

I hope their not because I guess in some occasions they would work. Like say for a hallway? Every time you walk over the tripwire it could light up lamps a few blocks ahead of you.

Other than the obvious griefing possibilities of the tripwires, the concept itself could be useful to map developers that make maps like the Saw series and stuff, if you guys know what i`m talking about. Or even making more hidden/compact hidden doors without needing the "out and the open suspicious switch even though there shouldn't be anything here" doors.

lol when i checked to see what this was i originally thought tht the ppl tht made killiong floor were going to help make some stuff for minecraft and thought :o thtll be amazing

but tripwires would be pretty good and i think that they could almost replace pressure plates since they seem to be harder to find and thus better for traps and easier to trip i think that that would make a pretty good addition to minecraft ;D

I'd end up forgetting where I put the trip wire and set it off myself Facepalm I'll stick to random 50 block deep holes with a piston ;)
