When they said they were dumbing down the graphics, shit, they weren't kidding. Driving sucks, poorly optimized, just didn't appeal to me.

I remember reading one ex-Realtime employee saying that Realtime didn't care about beta testers negative feedback and rushed the game out instead of fixing many problems. That's when I gave up hope on this game. I think it was an article on the Guardian, although it might have been Kotaku.

Never played the full game. What was different of the driving then and now?

I didn't play it previously, but GTA San Andreas had better driving than this. And it's like 8 years old.

This game is not THAT bad..you are blowing it all out of proportion fedex..yes the graphics are really dumbed down and that does annoy me..but the driving mechanics have not changed much.

Also what are you saying? GTA:SA's driving was pretty much drive 200+ miles..makes a sudden stop your car is fine no spinning out or anything what so ever..in this game they try a little too hard to make it realistic but shit they are not too far off with it either..if you gun your car and are trying to make sharp turns all over the place you are going to spin out MAJORLY and if you are driving a SUV and get pit maneuvered you WILL go rolling like 10+ times

and yeah the driving has not changed at all from the original they are fixing the weapons straight away fixing the OP ones back to the way they were in the original and are making alot of other little tweaks over all this game is fun and worth it.

Also this game being free to play has alot to do with the graphics being dumbed down.

One more thing..once this game is more towards official release I would like to make an intox. clan it will be another good way to promote intox.
