My Translation and the original below.
In the Night from 27-28.10.2009 two little boys went to the kitchen. The 4 year old apparently startet the washing machine and wanted to grab inside. Because of that the washing machine separated his left arm from his body. The older brother that saw this took the arm and put it in the icebox.After that he brought his brother back to bed.
In the morning the mother saw that her younger son had lost his arm and brought him immediately to the hospital. The Police had to bring the arm to the hospital but the doctors couldn't reattach it.
The police is investigating why the washing machine started although the front door was open. At the moment the speculate that it must be a technical defect.

Die Kriminalpolizei ermittelt derzeit, wie die defekte Waschmaschine anlaufen konnte, obwohl die Fronttür abmontiert war. Ein Anlaufen ohne Tür sei bei Waschmaschinen normalerweise ausgeschlossen. Derzeit gehe man von einem technischen Defekt aus.

RIGHT! exactly what i thought....don't ask me why he did it.
The even better part is in the morning when the mother discover it and brought him to the hospital they forgot the arm and had to call the police to get it for them...weird as shit

An expert from Germany has the theory that the vasculature closed and because of that he didn't bleed that bad.
Other speculate that besides that the boy was laying on the wound when he was in bed and didn't bleed out because of that.
What for sure is that when those terrible accidents happen where you lose and arm, or something, the heart doesn't pump the hard. A reaction of you body so you won't lose that much blood from such big wounds.

Well the mom would prolly be in jail for neglect and the kids being held to be put in a foster home.
Or the mom would be out sueing the shit outta whoever made the washing machine.

Nope here is the trick. The washing machine had a broken front door and it was detached. That why it is so curious that the machine started normally a washing machine doesn't start when the door is open...or in this case detached

I havent inspected a washing machine, i usually just throw my clothes in, but I dont think ive seen a label that says cuation: rips off arms. Without a label like that you can sue, at least here.
It would prolly go to court here and the judge would throw it out if there was evidence that she rigged it to work without the door. But if the machine was fualty and just worked on its own without the door she could make some killer money.
