which is better?
Its nice but theres no main subject or theme to the pic....if you were to add somthing it would be that much better.
I like it, not too fond of the little smudging though
nah i dont want a themed sig. i dont like those at all. and the smudging is bad cuz i just got cs4 and all my smudge brushes were like wtfimstillatcs3. so i just used regular ones because im lazeee
kinda poopy.
I'd read up on some tutorials on flow and blending. Also, I'd recommend staying away from filters such as the mosaic one in photoshop. Good try!

Took bout 2 secs.

I'm not trying to be rude, so sorry if thats how its coming off. If you want I can link you to some tutorials that I think are really useful. Let me know

beny
when using the stained glass filter, its best to make the rest of the sig in illustrator, as the filter gives a vectored look and feel. there is horrid, crude flow, accompanied by the terrible text.

tips:

1. like beny said, look up how to make a good flow, and LEARN THE COLOR WHEEL! ANYTHING WITH COLOR DISAGREEMENT FAILS!!.

2. try keeping the same style throughout a sig. like i said the filter makes it look vectored, and smudging is more of a digital pixel art than vector.

3. the border. it is used to bring out the contrast and/or color in piece of art. never use a gradient. and for sigs, the best border is either an even stroke border around the entire sig, like mine (edit>stroke> 1px @ x000000) or cinema borders (just google it)

PS sorry if this sounds rude. take it as constructive criticism. i learned design from an asshole, so i give advice like an asshole. my bad
