I won't be doing 75 miles tomorrow, probably30-35.

So you ride? How long have you been riding?
I was going to ride to San Diego in November (400 miles over 4 days) with the group of guys I normally ride with, but we couldn't get a follow car together... We may ride to Tucson or something instead (200 miles in 2 days).
Little over a year. I like to go on bike rides for pure enjoyment but I also use my bike as my main transportation at school.

For MTB's not really, I was looking at them for awhile before I got my road bike, but I've caught the roadie bug.

Ah nice.
I started riding for fitness, but I'm really enjoying it now. The weather sucks around here, it was 101F when I finished up today... but whatever.
Bike the Death Ride next year. It's in close to tahoe and is some crazy number like 129 miles in one day, with 15,000 feet of elevation change. I've been volunteering at one of the rest stops for the last three years now
Things I know about this post:
1. I know Danny MacAskill is the best at this stuff.
2. I know this bike is probably nearly $2000.
3. I know I'll never in my life be able to do this since I'm already 25 and have never even attempted it.
4. I know this isn't *real* mountain biking.

That's great... but this is more a thread about if you ride, not what kind of gear people you know...
Said it because of that.
I'm probably going to save up and buy myself a bike, I'm getting a shitty walmart one in a little bit for free from a girl I ride horses with, but I'm saving up prob a grand or so and making a bike
