intox Gaming

So apparently now all of my TF2 characters have invisible weapons/arms (JUST MINE NOT EVERYONE IN THE SERVER)

so when I am a spy I cant tell if I am cloaked and as a heavy I cant tell if I am spinning up my gun. (other than by sound)

This started happening this morning during gameplay and I have tried various fixes, none of which have worked:

starting a demo
verifying game files
defrag game files
restart steam
restart game
change video settings for various things
change multiplayer settings for various things.

ANYONE have a way to fix this?!

What server where you on?

You turned off viewmodels.

Find the advanced options in Multiplayer, scroll down some and enable them again. (By un-checking it) And if that fails, press the tilde key, and type in:

r_drawviewmodel 1

And, if that fails..

Browse to Steam\SteamApps\accountname\team fortress 2\tf\cfg and delete config.cfg then restart your game. It will create a clear configuration file that is the same configuration as the first time you played the game.
